The 48V controller shares the same Pico-ROS + Zenoh native integration stack as the 24V — meaning zero compute-side drivers, direct ROS 2 topic communication, and real-time odometry and state reporting. What changes is the power envelope.
At 48V nominal with 20A continuous per motor, this controller is built for heavy duty mobile robots operating in real production conditions: logistics platforms, outdoor inspection vehicles, industrial AMRs with manipulators, and any ground robot where motor thermal limits and voltage sag would otherwise constrain performance.
The 12V/24V compatibility means it integrates cleanly into battery architectures you may already have — no forced migration to a new power bus.

Competing industrial motor controllers in this class (Roboteq, Advanced Motion Controls, custom EtherCAT setups) typically require an onboard motion controller or PC-class computer to manage the communication protocol and host the ROS driver node.
